Justin Dudley started doing magic when he was 7 years old.  It all started with tickets to see the world-famous Andy Dallas perform at the Sunshine Theater.  After that, a magic set.  When it became apparent that Justin had a talent for magic, his mom, Linda, started investing in the development of his talents.  She was his biggest supporter and fan for many years and a vital part of his success.  She and Justin visited Dallas & Company regularly, where Justin came to appreciate Andy Dallas (Society of American Magicians Past National President) as his mentor and friend.

In high school, Justin met a young lady named Kathleen Reed and first caught her attention with a magic trick.  Several years later, on June 25th, 2003, he invited her to a "magic show" at her favorite restaurant at the time, Pastabilities.  After dinner, Justin got up and did two of his regular tricks- a torn and restored newspaper and a Chinese water suspension.  He then changed the music and the lights grew dim, and he turned to his case, crumpled up a little piece of paper into a ball, and made it jump around on his hand.  He then called her up to the staging area and crumpled another little piece of paper into a ball and made it jump around on her hand.  At this point, the music slowed down.  Justin then turned from Kathy and twisted another piece of paper into the form of a rose.  He had her smell the rose, and then he made it float in the air.  Justin then took the paper rose and the candle that was sitting on his case, and he put the candle under the rose.  The rose burst into flames, and he pulled a real rose from the flame.  Tied onto the rose (with a thin, yellow ribbon), was the engagement ring he had purchased.  Justin got down on one knee to ask Kathy to be his wife.  She said, "Yes"!  They were married on May 15, 2004, and the rest is history.

Kathy Dudley serves as Justin's booking agent, roadie, and personal assistant, as well as guinea pig for new tricks.  It is she who will help you book your show with Justin, when you call our office.  Justin and Kathy work very closely together on the magic, and they look forward to making magic a part of their family life forever.
